The Island's capital city has 40 dilapidated properties, according to Douglas Council.
Councillors on the Environmental Services committee discussed the issue at their last meeting.
They heard since the last report on ruinous buildings, three new properties had been added to the list while three had been removed.
They said the remaining 40 represents around a quarter of one per cent of all buildings in the city.
