The Scottish Widows Parish Walk started at 8am with a record number of entrants attempting to walk all the way around the Isle of Man is less than 24 hours.
Olympic Silver medal winner Roger Black started the race at the N.S.C.
Over 1,700 people signed up for the endurance challenge including 3FM's Kevin Ford and Ben Sowrey.
Kevin Ford is doing it to raise money for breakthrough breast cancer. Kev told us that it is feeling hot out there but he still aims to complete the walk in under 20 hours.
