The police say they've already seized a vehicle as an ongoing operation resumed last night.
Operation Uplift was launched in February and aims to tackle anti-social driving, fatal offences such as speeding and improve the standards of vehicles.
The Constabulary Roads Policing Unit says on Facebook they stopped 38 vehicles last night and one was seized for being unroadworthy.
It urges people not to become a statistic in the operation and to keep roads safe.
