£700,000 has been given to organisations by the government this year from its International Development budget.
The figure was given by Cabinet Office minister Kate Lord-Brennan in response to a question for written answer.
She says the money was given to help people in Turkey, Syria, Ukraine and Gaza.
The most recent donation was made in March, when £350,000 was given to UNICEF to help in Gaza.
