350 new homes are being proposed for an area in Braddan.
The land, which is just off Braddan Road, was selected for residential use as part of the Area Plan for the East, due to its sustainable location close to Douglas and limited environmental value.
Hartford Homes is hoping to build a range of houses on the site, from two to five bed, including some bungalows, and have said they will minimise the impact on registered trees, replacing any that are lost.
There will be a public meeting about the project, which is taking place on Thursday 21 October at Douglas Rugby Club on Peel Road in Douglas between 4-8pm.
