3 Manx people have been named in the Queen’s New Year 2011 Honours list.
Receiving an OBE will be MLC Alex Downie, for his public services in the Isle of Man – Mr Downie is also a member of the Department of Economic Development.
Dr John Taylor will also receive an OBE for services to business and horology.
Receiving the MBE will be Jean Buck for her services to wildlife and conservation in the Island.
