25-year-old man left hospitalised following assault

A 25-year-old man was left hospitalised today after being assaulted in Ballasalla today.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident shortly before 8am this morning near to the shops in Clagh Vane.

The man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone who witnessed a disturbance in the area is asked to call Police Headquarters on 631212.
