The government says 186 single people have joined first-time home buyer schemes in the past two years - with 23 purchasing properties.
A freedom of information request to the Department of Infrastructure asked how many single people had joined schemes since January 2022, and how many applicants had been given help.
In its response, the DOI said 112 single people joined its First Home Fixed scheme and 20 people bought homes with its help.
Another 74 single applicants applied for assistance through the First Home Choice programmes, with three buying properties.
