Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood will ask Tynwald to back her department's plans for 20mph zones in the Island's built-up areas next week.
When the court sits on Tuesday, a report will be laid outlining the plans to lower speed limits from 30mph to 20mph in residential areas.
Dr Haywood will ask members to receive and approve the 20mph Project Implementation Plan.
Tynwald will sit from 10am on Tuesday in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
