A petition for redress of grievance calling for the government to reverse course on 20mph zones won't be considered by Tynwald members.
Christopher Pay handed the petition to the court on Tynwald Day, asking for the policy to be paused and investigated over concerns it would impact residents, commuters, consumers, and businesses.
But the Standing Orders Committee of Tynwald says the petition tries to reopen a debate into a subject resolved by the court in May and it contains proposals already rejected by parliament.
As such, it says the petition has already been determined by Tynwald during its current session.
