The summer of 2025 was officially the hottest on record, the Ronaldsway Met Office has now confirmed.
It followed on from what was also the sunniest and warmest spring this year.
This kept the ground surface very dry going into the summer months, with another reason for the record being the especially high sea temperature around the British Isles.
The newly released data shows an average daily high of 18.8 Celsius, which breaks the previous record of 15.93°C from 1995.
