2016 was the Island's tenth-warmest year on record, and drier than average despite a wet start to the year.
Data from Ronaldsway Met Office shows there were more hours of sunshine than average, and mean temperatures for the year measured 10.6C, half a degree warmer than usual.
Over the year, the weathermen say there were only seven days of gale force winds, less than half the Island would normally see.
And although there were 18 hailstorms over the course of last year, there were just 11 days of sleet and snow - while Mananann's cloak provided 29 days of fog.
