2009 Late Night Chirstmas Shopping Kicks Off Tonight

Late night Christmas Shopping gets underway in Douglas tonight, with the majority of shops up and down strand street opening late.

Late night shopping will take place every Thursday in Douglas from now up until the big day with the usual festive entertainment on offer.

Also this year there is the family friendly Ice Skating Rink in the VillaMarina Gardens.

Free parking will be on offer during peak shopping times at all of the Douglas Council parking sites including Shaws Brow and the Bottleneck site.

The big light switch on will take place next Thursday 3rd December.
