£2,000 worth of damage has been caused to Astro Turf at the NSC Bowl.
Police say the act of vandalism happened sometime between 9pm on Saturday (April 8) and 6.30am the following Thursday (13th).
The Turf was set alight, with authorities finding matches at the scene.
