A fishing trawler which sank in Peel Harbour has reportedly sustained up to £50,000 worth of water damage.
Police say the ‘Two Girls’ vessel was taken without the owner’s consent in the early hours of Monday morning.
Emergency services attended the scene with the fire brigade pumping out the boat to try to prevent further damage.
Yesterday two 21-year-old men, who are both from Peel, appeared in court charged with taking the vessel without the owner’s consent and criminal damage.
Both have been bailed and will appear in court again on Tuesday, January 21st.
