The £2 cap on local bus fares on will continue until the end of March.
The government measure was first introduced to support Island residents and businesses through winter amid the cost of living crisis.
The cap was brought in on November 1 for three months as a trial - and was due to finish today - but has now been extended into the spring.
A review of fares is currently underway, with any changes expected to come into effect from April 1.
