A Peel teenager who’s denied breaching an anti-social behaviour order three times in a night will appear in court again later this month.
Connor John Lewis of Albany Road in Peel appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard he’d been given an ASBO last July, preventing him from causing alarm or distress, banning him from hanging around with a teenage boy and imposing a 9pm to 6am curfew.
Prosecution advocate Rebecca Cubbon told the court an off-duty detective walking through Peel heard shouting and swearing at around 8.30pm on April 14.
When she went to see what was going on, she saw Mr Lewis with the teen he’s banned from associating with.
The court heard he’s alleged to have been starting a fight with another man, but made off.
Police later called at his home at 9pm but got no answer.
Mr Lewis was remanded in custody and will appear again on April 30.
