A 17 year old from Douglas has been remanded in custody following an incident which left a man with serious head injuries.
Liam Priestnal appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse this morning.
He was charged with one offence of causing grievous bodily harm following an altercation on Loch Promenade in the early hours of Saturday morning.
33 year old Daryl McGeown from Peel is currently being treated at Walton Neurological Hospital – he’s said to be in a critical but stable condition.
Mr Priestnal has been remanded until Friday where there will be a further application for bail.
