Police saw a 16 percent rise in sexual assault this year.
Chief Constable Russ Foster's annual report was published to the Tynwald website yesterday.
In it, he says there were 98 sexual assaults last year, compared to 91 the year before.
The document also says there were also 41 reports of rape.
