Thirteen vehicles were stopped in the space of an hour during speed checks in Ballasalla yesterday.
That's according to the Police who were out at Bridge Road in the area after receiving information from members of the public.
Officers in the south say two people were issued with EFPN's and will have points put on their licences.
Police add they will continue to monitor the area.
