Fines totaling £11,770 have been handed out to individuals and businesses over income tax and national insurance offences.
They appeared before magistrates in Douglas failing to pay National Insurance, submit Income Tax returns or comply with a tax return notices.
Five businesses were fined a total of £9,670 while three individuals were fined £1,300 and another two fined £800.
The court also ordered outstanding income tax returns to be submitted.
