 
                            This morning's road traffic collision near to the Whitebridge in Onchan has involved an 11-year old child.
Early reports would indicate the St Ninian's pupil was hit by a bus.
Although it is believed the boy sustained injuries, they are not thought to be life threatening.
The incident occurred at the entrance to Lazer blast, as a result the A2 Whitebridge Hill road from its junctions with Barroose Road and Begoade Rd is closed until further notice.
Police are currently dealing with the situation.
