There's still time to buy the government's LoveIOM gift card before Christmas.
The initiative, launched at the end of November, will be redeemable until January 4.
The aim is to encourage residents to give local gifts over Christmas.
The government said there's a limited number of cards available with a bonus credit of 25% added as part of an incentive that closes on December 31.
Dr Alex Allinson, Minister for Enterprise, says with over 1,000 cards sold to date, it's likely this spend would have been lost to our local economy without the scheme.
