The government could raise an extra £10-million a year IF they raised taxes by 1%.
That's according to Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan, in the House of Keys this week.
His statement came in written response to a question put to him by Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft.
Mrs Beecroft asked how much a 1p rise in both the income tax rate and National Insurance rate would raise.
