Around a third of residents who took part in a recent survey believe their household finances will worsen over the next three months.
That's according to figures from the government's Coronavirus Household Survey, which got the views of 606 people on aspects of life around the COVID-19 pandemic such as financial, health and wellbeing.
Whilst 77 per cent of those who responded said their financial situation had stayed the same or improved since social distancing restrictions were lifted on June 15, 23 per cent believed theirs had changed for the worse.
Of that latter group, 40 per cent said they're just managing to make ends meet on their income, 23 per cent said they've had to dip into savings to stay afloat with 10 per cent saying they're running into debt.
