Zurich has officially launched a solar power project which will provide up to 70% of its electricity for its Island offices.
The company says the move has been welcomed by DEFA as example of what businesses should be doing to help the Island achieve its sustainability goals.
Dr Michelle Haywood MHK, Political Member of DEFA with responsibility for Environment described the step as 'proactive' and 'forward-thinking'
As is stands, Zurich has 540 solar panels - but that could rise in the future.
