Zurich International intensifies efforts towards a 'sustainable future'.
Zurich International hopes to boost renewable energy for its offices by almost three quarters using solar technology.
Subject to approval, their plan is to install a solar panel car port over an existing car park to provide up to 70% of the office's electricity, generating up to 200 kilowatts.
The project is part of Zurich Insurance Group's sustainability commitment, and if approved, could be completed by March 2022.
Nigel Simpson, Head of International Markets at Zurich International, says the ever increasing weight of scientific evidence about climate change is a powerful reminder of the need to intensify efforts to build a sustainable future.
