A vintage car business which caters for weddings has applied for permission to change the use of an industrial storage unit.
Platinum Cars, based on the Balthane Industrial Estate in Ballasalla, says it wants to turn the storage unit into an operations centre.
In its application, it says it wants to use the unit as an office under guidelines from the Road Transport Licensing Committee.
The company says it would use the unit as a base to hire out its classic cars for events such as weddings.
