There were nearly 200 fewer people out of work on Island in April compared to the previous month.
Data from the latest Labour Market Report say 751 people were registered as unemployed, a decrease of 187 from March this year.
The unemployment rate locally during April stood at 1.8%, a drop of 0.4% on the month before.
Of those out of work, 63% were men and just 37% women.
