That's the question Tynwald members will consider next month when they discuss a report from the Economic Policy Review committee.
The committee's document looks into the department and its executive agencies, and one of its recommendations asked if Business Isle of Man, Finance Isle of Man and Digital Isle of Man should continue in their current form.
The court will consider the report when it sits in July.
