Two local restaurants will be closing their doors.
The Italian Job based at the Villa Marina Arcade in Douglas took to social media to make the announcement yesterday.
A post reads "It is with deep regret we must inform you of the closure of The Italian Job restaurant. Thank you to our incredible customers, for your unwavering support over the years. It meant the world to us. We have met a lot of lovely people and we would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who visited us when we were open."
"Thank you to all our staffs, full time and part time. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you for your dedication and hard work, we really appreciate it. Thank you to our suppliers and service providers for the warm and friendly business we've enjoyed over the years."
Meanwhile, those operating the Sunset Lakes Cafe Restaurant in Peel have announced they will be moving on from the premises.
A post on its Facebook page states " Our business is young and unfortunately the Covid 19 has hit us and we wont be the only ones."
