Treasury says it won't tell MHKs how many Manx companies are paying the "Tesco Tax".
In the House of Keys earlier this week treasury minister Alf Cannan wouldn't give the information after being asked for it by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
She wanted to know many Manx registered companies are currently paying retail tax, which was introduced to make sure large UK operators contribute to the Island's coffers..
In response, Mr Cannan said because the numbers are so small, supplying them might identify them - breaching confidentiality.
