The Treasury has announced new sanctions against government ministers in Syria.
The EU put the group on its sanctions list, saying they share responsibility for the regime's violence against its civilian population.
The list includes ministers in charge of oil, health, industry, agriculture and electricity.
After being added to the sanctions list, businesses on the Island must now freeze any assets they hold and report them to the Treasury.
