The Department of Economic Development has launched a survey aimed at gaining better insight into tourism sector trends.
The 2017 'How's Business' survey will ask how the industry has performed this year.
Accommodation and activity providers as well as attraction owners and eateries will be asked about any areas of concern and to give their forecast for 2018.
Results from last year's study showed the main area of concern was the cost of travel - with 70 per cent of respondents saying this was a major factor in business trends.
