The Information Commissioner's Office says it dealt with 146 data breaches last year.
In an update on social media, it says 29 complaints and 12 investigations were concluded over the course of 2025.
Over the past 12 months, it says it carried out nine regulatory actions to uphold people's information rights.
And it also surveyed 300 organisations about advice and support.
