Students from the University College Isle of Man will represent the Island at a national business accounting competition in Birmingham next year.
A team of six BTEC students competed against their counterparts at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales as part of BASE 2016.
The competition is open to young people aged between 16 and 19 and gives them the opportunity to engage in a business challenge, develop employability skills and gives an insight into the career of a chartered accountant.
Each team was supported by a mentor who is a junior chartered accountant from the local industry - the Isle of Man team won the heat and will now represent the UCM in June next year.
