A new sporting group looking to help get talented local athletes to the top level is on the lookout for new members.
Sporting Club Isle of Man was founded earlier this year to assist Manx sports players in reaching their potential, and has already been behind the formation of the new FC Isle of Man football team and Cycling Club Isle of Man.
It's now inviting anyone aged 16 and over to have an active part in its future - the organisation says any members will be able to take part in decisions affecting the club and also have the opportunity to put themselves forward to voted onto the club's board.
For £30 a year anyone who joins will become a member and an official supporter of both the new football and cycling teams, whilst those who sign up for £20 per year will also become a member and be able to choose to officially support either of the two teams.
All members will have equal voting rights, and those who have an interest in a particular sport and will get options to receive their perks that fits with their interest.
Sporting Club IOM Commercial Director, Ty Smith, says they've been 'overwhelmed' with the amount of pre-registered interest in the club with members as far afield as Germany, USA, Hong Kong and Australia.
Pre-registration has since closed.
