A fitness centre in the south of the Island says it wants to open seven days a week in the face of high demand.
Sarah Fisher of Southern Fitness has applied for planning permission to open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Earlier this year, the facility at the former fire station on Droghadfayle Road was given permission to host group exercise classes and personal training sessions - but only allowed to open from Monday to Friday.
But with a number of people on waiting lists to use it, the business says it would like to open two more days to cater for them.
