A new satellite dish in Tromode will help a Manx company televise the TT, according to a new planning application.
Douglas-based SES Satellite Leasing has applied for permission to a permanent dish at Greenlight Television in Greenlight House.
In its application, the company says replacing the temporary dish will enable it to enhance its coverage of the festival.
And it says the 2.6 metre dish would be needed until at least the end of 2020, saying a permanent installation is necessary to keep the facility viable.
