A Manx egaming company is to be bought out at a price tag of around £2.7 billion.
Playtech, based in Upper Church Street in Douglas, is the subject of an offer from Australian gaming machine firm Aristocrat Leisure.
Playtech supplies online gambling software and employs more than 7,000 people in 24 countries.
Aristocrat's chief executive Trevor Croker says said the proposed buyout would bring opportunities for both to expand their offerings into new markets.
