A nursery in Laxey says it wants to open slightly longer to give parents more time to drop off and pick up their children.
Trinity Laxey Nursery on Shore Road has applied for planning permission to extend its opening hours.
If approved, it would open half and hour earlier at 8am and close at 6pm rather than 4.30.
In its application, the facility says working parents have repeatedly asked if they can drop children off earlier or pick them up later.
