Manx Telecom says it's not introducing any new charges after being accused of asking more for paper bills.
On social media, the company says its current billing policy - which sees duplicate bills cost £6 and paper bills costing £4.20 a month - has been in place for years.
The company says its online billing platform remains free to use.
And it adds the move to digital bills has saved countless trees and reduced its carbon footprint significantly.
