Citywing claims the re-branding and potential sale of Blackpool Airport can 'only be seen as a positive'.
Blackpool International Airport was shut in October 2014 but re-opened shortly after as Blackpool Airport.
Citywing resumed a route in April 2015 as it proved to be 'consistently successful' - over the past six months there's been an increase in passenger figures of 1,500.
Managing director David Buck says it looks as though airport bosses are hoping to expand the services offered:
Royal assent for neonatal leave law
Manx Telecom's takeover won't mean redundancies
Businesses invited to exhibit at rebranded food and drink festival
Nearly two-thirds of Island have switched to fibre
Final call for entries to the Elevate You Awards
