Robinsons says switching from a paper based to web based customer service system will ensure faster deliveries.
It's introduced the Swords system which it says will increase efficiency and enable growth by centralising its stock information.
Robinsons is the first business on the Isle of Man to have introduced the system - a move that's won the company a UK industry award for Business Initiative of the Year.
The system is based on the same technology used by Amazon for its warehouse distribution.
The company says staff will now be able to receive and process more than 1,000 orders a day with a higher degree of accuracy and speed.
