Isle of Man Energy has appointed a new chairman.
The former managing director of Manx Telecom Chris Hall will now head the board at the island's gas company.
He said the business was at a pivotal moment as it transitions to low-carbon energy technologies, such as renewable gas.
Mr Hall added that gas is an "indispensable part of the Manx energy mix"
