A successful Island entrepreneur says there needs to be more transparent and proactive communication to businesses applying for support during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Claire Christian of Claire Christian Couture has been speaking at today's COVID-19 government briefing and is part of an online forum for organisations across the Island which have been giving their feedback on the impact of the outbreak.
After receiving feedback from different industries, she says some companies are 'falling through the cracks' because of the sector-based approach of the current support schemes.
Meanwhile, Enterprise Minister, Laurence Skelly MHK, says such feedback from local companies is valuable and could shape any changes to the assistance being provided if required.
