The government's taxi inspectors spend less than six hours a week making sure vehicles are safe, it's been revealed.
This week in Tynwald, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer was asked whether there were enough inspectors to make sure the industry runs smoothly.
In particular, North Douglas MHK David Ashford wanted to know how many hours regulators worked.
Mr Harmer revealed the figures dating back two years:
