Managing director nominated for award

The managing director of an Island firm has been nominated for a key award.

Ian Drake, MD at Rex Leasing has been shortlisted in the annual Institute of Directors (IoD) North West & Isle of Man Director of the Year awards in the Young Director category.

Mr Drake, who set up the company in September 2018, says he feels honoured to be put forward for the accolade, adding he's already planning further developments for the firm to continue its growth.

The awards will take place in Manchester on May 14 - Isle of Man Chair for the Institute of Directors, Jennifer Houghton, is congratulating him on his nomination and is pleased to see the Island being represented at the occasion.
