From April local businesses will be able to apply for funding from the government to improve their shops.
The Town and Village Regeneration scheme will launch on Tuesday, April 1 where businesses can apply for their piece of £2.4 million.
The funding will go towards improvements to the external appearance and accessibility of buildings, fitting out vacant units internally and the conversion of spaces above shops into living spaces.
More information and guidance will be available on the Department for Enterprise website in the coming days.
