DIY store B & Q has withdrawn a number of lights after concerns over safety.
The Office of Fair Trading says a range of ceiling mounted, freestanding and table top models are affected.
The lights were on sale between February 2014 and 2017 and have a cast metal lamp shade ring.
The OFT says the ring is at risk of fracturing and this could lead to the shade falling from the fitting.
